With August 9th, 2017 marking the 15th Anniversary of DMGlobal Marketing & Public Relations, LLC, the creator of www.bmorenews.com – we knew we needed to come up with something special. Truth be told, at a recent “listening party” in Baltimore for Jay Z’s new album, 4:44, we learned about Afrotech. It is a movement on the West Coast with an emphasis on 21st century technology. Home to Silicon Valley, that is where some of the hottest ideas in new technology emerge.
However, Bmorenews is based on the East Coast. Hence, we believe it is incumbent upon us to look at our own strengths and assets in our corner of the world and build on them. With that in mind, Bmorenews has partnered with the Entrepreneurial Development and Assistance Center (EDAC) at Morgan State University in the Earl G. Graves School of Business & Management to produce “BLACKTECHPRENEUR.” The focus of BLACKTECHPRENEUR is the intersection of business and technology.
Our goal for this event scheduled for Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 10 am to 2 pm is to bring together some of the intelligent minds in the region when it comes to making money online. From media publishers to online business owners, our aim is to put some of the best and brightest people who are technologically inclined in the same room at the same time.
In short, if you are a business owner who makes a significant portion of income because of the World Wide Web, then BLACKTECHPRENEUR is for you. If you are an aspiring entrepreneur who, again, is looking to make money – some way, somehow – by way of the Internet, then this conference is for you. If computers, laptops, Smart Phones and Social Media are essential to your business’ survival, we implore you to attend this one-of-a-kind gathering specifically designed for the entrepreneur.
Further, BLACKTECHPRENEUR will also feature the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Awards, part of Bmorenews’ ORIGINAL Black Wall Street SERIES *NYC *MD *DC *ATL *NOLA.
